10am-1pm | Last Sunday of Each Month
Sunshine Sunday is a special monthly event for children with special needs and their caregivers. Come explore the Museum with lights and sounds turned down and sensory adapted tools, special programs, and community resources at your fingertips. It’s during this time that children and their families can experience the Museum and unite with others on a similar journey. Reservations are encouraged, but not required.
$5 General Admission | Free For Members.
Special programming and events are subject to change each month. We encourage all families to check out our Calendar to learn about special activities happening each month. Questions? Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We continue to closely consider the number of COVID-19 cases and the recommendations of the CDC. Starting May 25, fully vaccinated guests will not be required to wear masks in the museum. Masks are strongly encouraged for all guests, especially those who are not yet vaccinated. Our staff will continue to wear our masks to protect the children we serve who are not eligible for vaccination. If you have further questions, please email email@example.com

We are proud to offer a new addition to our monthly sensory-friendly event, Sunshine Sundays! Our new addition, Sunshine Squad is a sensory-friendly opportunity for tweens and teens to practice their social skills by playing games, interacting with others their age and those on a similar journey! Sunshine Squad will include sensory-friendly tools and resources, specially curated games and activities, and staff trained by the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities.
