Social Responsibility

Support GCM’s Social Responsibility Initiative
The Glazer Children’s Museum believes that every child should have an equal opportunity to become a lifelong learner and leader. The Museum’s Social Responsibility Initiative helps provide children and families in need with access to educational programs and experiences at low or no cost. GCM relies on generous contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations like you to
make this a reality.

Through the Social Responsibility Initiative, GCM has partnered with community leaders and the Hillsborough County Public School System to expand field trip experiences to Title One School students for free. Our field trips include customizable SMALLab and Think Studio experiences built on Florida State Standards to enrich learning and give kids the access to play with purpose. In 2018, GCM awarded over 5,000 Title One School students with a Museum Field Trip for no cost to them!

2020 Vision for the Future
As the Social Responsibility Initiative grows, so will the list of programs it supports! GCM wants to partner with even more community organizations, expand opportunities for under-represented groups to explore STEM concepts, pioneer computer literacy programs, introduce more scholarships, and beyond. Your support helps us raise the Imagination Generation!
