Let’s See!

What Kids Love

Kids can step into a world of wacky reflections and visual surprises, stretching and bending their reflections in a funhouse mirror, becoming part of a human kaleidoscope, and creating dramatic shadows with light. Children can zoom in on their own eyeball using a special camera and see it displayed on a screen, try on playful glasses designs, and experiment with how lenses bend light using water-filled orbs and Fresnel lenses.

What Kids Learn

Through playful optical illusions, kids discover how eyes and brains work together to make sense of the world. They learn that images actually enter the eye upside down, and that the brain flips them right-side up. Let’s See! builds curiosity, scientific reasoning, and appreciation for the complexity of human perception.

What to Expect

This exhibit includes mirrors, changing visuals, and light-based illusions that may surprise or delight first-time visitors. Children are always in control of their experience and can choose which interactives to engage with. Caregivers can support kids by explaining what they’re seeing or encouraging observation rather than participation. The space is accessible and designed for curiosity at every comfort level.
