GCM Birthday Parties include full access to all of our exhibits, plus a private party room for celebrating together. It’s a stress-free way to give your child a high-energy, joy-filled birthday they’ll never forget.
Play Party
Invite your guests for a full day of play! Enjoy one of our private party rooms for 1.5 hours, followed by unlimited time exploring the Museum.
Saturdays and Sundays: 10–11:30am or 12:30–2pm
$400 for 5–15 guests
$500 for 16–30 guests
GCM Members save 10% (discount applies to party package only, not catering or add-ons)
Additional guests: $20 each, up to 35 total guests

Enjoy a 2-hour celebration in one of our private party rooms, plus extra perks.

$700 for 30–35 guests
$800 for 40–45 guests

Birthday Parties FAQ
Book online through our Birthday Booking Calendar. To learn more before you book, submit a Birthday Party Inquiry or contact reservations@glazermuseum.org or 813 443 3821.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date.
Your party is not confirmed until a signed agreement is returned (emailed within 24-48 hours).
Final details and remaining balance are due three (3) days before your party.
Parties are available 3 weeks to 4 months in advance.
Guest count includes all adults and children over age 1.
Not included:
- The birthday child
- Children under 12 months
All other guests, including Museum Members, count toward your total.
If fewer guests attend than booked, the difference will be refunded after the final headcount at check-in.
Yes! Additional birthday children are $15 each. Guest count does not increase with additional birthday children.
Parties of 50+ guests are considered private events. Please complete a Venue Rental Inquiry for more information.
Yes! Catering is available through Creativity Café. Orders are due 10 days before your party.
Included with catering: plastic plates, cups, napkins, and cutlery.
Not included: cake plates or cake-specific utensils.
Leftover food and beverages may not be taken home (except birthday cake/dessert).
If food is not pre-ordered, a limited day-of menu may be available and must be paid directly at the Café.

Families with food allergy concerns may contact Reservations in advance.
Parties do not include a dedicated host, but a Museum associate will:
- Assist with check-in
- Escort you to your party room
- Support setup if needed
- Ensure you have what you need
- Coordinate cleanup
We provide a wagon to store party items afterward so you can continue exploring.
Families may bring their own activities, music (speaker welcome in party room), and enjoy daily Museum programs like storytime and projects in MakeSpace.
Rooms are pre-decorated in vibrant colors, and tablecloths are provided (choose from select colors).
Allowed: tabletop and freestanding décor only.
Not allowed:
- Helium balloons (including arches)
- Adhesives (tape, glue, command strips)
- Glitter, confetti, silly string, paint
- Fog machines
- Ball pits
- Wall-mounted décor
Piñatas must be pull-string style and cannot hang from the ceiling.
Setup time:
- Play Party: 15 minutes early
- Play Party Plus: 30 minutes early
Large-scale décor, outside vendors, or unapproved items may incur event pricing fees.
You may enter the Museum early, but access to the party room is limited to your setup window.
If the party begins late, extra time cannot be guaranteed and may require an additional fee if available.
Guests check in at the front desk, receive wristbands, and are directed to your party room.
All packages include full-day admission and guests are welcome to explore before and after your celebration.
The Museum does not operate its own parking. The closest option is the William F. Poe Garage next door. Payment is available onsite or through the ParkMobile app. See more about parking here.
