MakeSpace

What Kids Love

Kids can cut, glue, stack, and create with crafting supplies, cardboard, and natural materials. With support from our Playologists, children learn to use real tools like scissors and glue guns while following their own creative instincts. Families can try a new seasonal craft or activity with each visit.

What Kids Learn

MakeSpace champions process art over product art. Kids develop problem-solving skills, resilience, and creative confidence by experimenting, adapting, and trusting their ideas. Collaboration and self-directed learning are at the heart of every creation.

What to Expect

MakeSpace is a flexible, creativity-first environment. Children are encouraged to explore materials in their own way, with support from Playologists as needed. Tools like scissors and glue guns are available with guidance. Projects are open-ended, and there is no “right” way to create. Seating and standing options allow for varied physical needs.
