Winter Workout

Join GCM Educator Mary for a winter workout! Mary teaches us some winter-themed exercises that help us to get our muscles moving, our hearts pumping, our minds focused. Try to complete each exercise for 30 seconds each and take 30 seconds of rest in between.

Polar Bear Walk – put your hands and feet on the floor, push your hips high in the air, and walk forward

Penguin Shuffle – stand up straight and put your arms at your side, shuffle forward

Falling Snowflake – spread your legs wide and put your arms in the air, use your right hand to touch your left foot, and use your left hand to touch your right foot

Reindeer Run – run in place

Snow Stomp – stretch your arms out in front of you and lift one knee at a time and try to touch your hands
