Designed especially for our youngest learners, Toddler Takeover features slower-paced mornings with activities that support early development through movement, sensory play, and creative exploration. Daily themes invite toddlers to climb, crawl, splash, wiggle, and create at their own pace.
Families can also connect with community partners offering storytimes, sensory experiences, and early childhood resources, making Toddler Takeover as supportive as it is playful.

Super Skills
Our MakeSpace crafts are carefully curated to enhance kids’ gross and fine motor skills, while also helping them develop essential everyday skills such as decision-making, trial-and-error, experimentation, collaboration, curiosity, and more!
Through our Toddler Takeover crafts, kids will explore Art in Motion with interactive stations like pendulum swings, spin stations, rubber band snapping, and a bubble bar to discover how movement creates art. Little ones will build super skills like:
- Cause & Effect, Observation, & Prediction: Exploring pendulum swings and catapult corner to see how force, trajectory, and gravity change their art in real-time.
- Fine Motor Control, Finger Strength, & Coordination: Snapping rubber bands and navigating spin art tools to build essential hand muscles and bilateral coordination.
- Oral Motor Development & Breath Control: Blowing bubbles at the bubble bar to strengthen speech muscles while exploring vibrant color interactions.
- Creative Experimentation & SEL: Making independent artistic choices, practicing trial and error, and discovering visual tracking and color mixing through play.
