Happy National Pet Day! Team GCM member, Chris, shows you how to make your furry friend a yummy treat… pupcakes! Then lead the pup to the tasty treat in our pup maze activity sheet!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Whole Wheat or Oat Flour
- 1 cup Quick Cooking Oats
- 1 cup Organic Peanut Butter (creamy, no artificial sweetener is okay too)
- 1 cup of water
- Coconut Oil or cupcake liners
- Bowl
- Muffin tin
Optional Materials for Icing:
- No artificial sweetener Greek Yogurt
- Peanut Butter
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a bowl, add the oats, flour, and peanut butter. Add water and stir the mixture to make a thick, biscuit-like texture
- Take the muffin tin and line it with the cupcake liners or grease the tray with coconut oil
- Fill the liners with the dough about ½ to ¾ of the way full. Bake the pupcakes for 15-20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes
Instructions for Icing:
- In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of greek yogurt and ¼ cup of peanut butter. Continue to add this ratio to the bowl while stirring occasionally until the desired amount of icing is reached. The texture should be smooth and creamy.
