Pigs in a Blanket Recipe

It’s National Pigs in a Blanket Day! Team GCM member, Mary, shows you how to make this super simple snack!

Materials Needed:

  • Pan
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Cooking Spray
  • Smokies/ Little Weenies
  • Crescent Rolls

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Put aluminum foil on your baking sheet.
  3. Spray it with cooking spray.
  4. Take the crescent roll dough out of the package and unroll it on your pan.
  5. Separate the dough and cut out 3 triangles per section.
  6. Spread the cut triangles out on the pan.
  7. Take out the smokies and begin wrapping them in the crescent roll dough triangles. (Roll the little piggies in their blankets!)
  8. Set them evenly apart across the pan.
  9. Have an adult put the pan in the oven and wait 10 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
  10. Take the pan out of the oven and let your Pigs in a Blanket cool for 5 minutes.
  11. Set them on a different plate and add any condiments you’d like.
  12. ENJOY!
