Hot Chocolate Recipe

What do you do to warm up when it’s cold outside? One of our favorite things to do is drink hot chocolate! Hot chocolate is a simple mixture of three ingredients, but makes a tasty, warm treat! Join Team GCM Member Brianna as she teaches us how to make hot chocolate and shows us some of her favorite toppings to add! 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. Cocoa Powder
  • 1 c. Hot Water
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • Marshmallows (optional)
  • Peppermints (optional)

Directions:

  1. Begin by adding 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and a pinch of salt to your cup. Mix the dry ingredients together.
  2. Next, add a small amount of hot water and stir until it makes a paste.
  3. Then, add the rest of your hot water to the cup and stir it all together until it’s combined.
  4. Finish by adding your favorite toppings! You can add marshmallows, peppermints, chocolate chips, sprinkles, and more!
