Echolocation

Learn about how animals use echolocation with Team GCM Educator, Rebecca.

Materials:

• Aluminum foil pie tin
• 2 paper towel roll tubes
• 1 ruler
• Tape

Activity Directions:

1. Tape the tubes about 2 inches apart, turning them in slightly to each other.
2. About 12 inches from the tubes, set your foil pie tin upright in front of the tubes
3. Ask a grownup for help. Have them speak quietly into one tube while you listen closely in the other
