Let’s get moving! Team GCM member, Alison, shows you a fun exercise game using dice to get your body moving! If you don’t have dice, use our activity sheet to make your own exercise dice!
What you’ll need:
- A pair of dice
- Space to move around
- Your self (Anyone can play grownups and kids)
Exercises:
Superman – Lay down on your stomach with your arms and legs straight out on the floor. Move your arms and legs up towards the sky and fly.
Star Jumps – Stand up with your arms diagonally towards the sky and jump up trying to reach as high as you can. Make sure when you jump your legs go out too.
Froggy Squat – Squat down with your legs at a 90-degree angle and touch the floor with your fingertips. Then jump up and hop like a frog.
Windmill – Stand up tall and take one arm and bring it down to touch your opposite foot. Switch and repeat.
Spinning arms – Stand up, put your arms out to the side and move them in a circular motion. You can try going forwards and then going backward.
Ninja Kicks – Stand up, take one leg, lift it up off the ground and kick to the side. Then switch to your other leg and repeat. Make sure that you have plenty of room and that there’s no furniture or any friends nearby.
