How Glazer Children’s Museum can benefit your students
At the Glazer Children’s Museum, your student will be able to participate in hands-on exhibits, activities and programs designed to engage their curiosity and apply learning to real life situations. We offer many ways of visiting with students, and encourage you to find the visit that works best for you!
Learning Workshops are 30-45 minute programs, led my Museum Educators and based on Sunshine State Standards. These workshops offer a chance to have an in-depth, hands-on experience with subject matter related to museum exhibits. Workshops directly complement museum exploration and provide a chance for students to investigate exhibit topics more deeply. Multiple topics are available for students in PreK to 4th grade. Click HERE for descriptions of all of our Learning Workshops to choose the ones that are best for your students!
Museum Missions are downloadable activity guides that help students make connections between Museum exhibits and classroom curriculum. Missions are based around basic topics, such as Math, Reading and Science, and are targeted at grade levels. Missions are to be printed by teachers and given to students on arrival at the museum. Missions are a chaperone and teacher led experience. Click HERE for more information and to download Museum Missions.
