Halloween Spree

At Glazer Children’s Museum, we bring spooky surprises to all of our little ghoul and goblin guests all October long! Take part in our themed Family Play Project that celebrates the season and have a frighteningly good time learning about everything from spooky science to creepy creatures, and more. Costumes are always encouraged!

Sensory-Friendly Halloween Spree

Last Sunday in October, 8-10am

Show off your most creative costume at our Sensory-Friendly Halloween Spree! This sensory-friendly event takes place on Sunshine Sunday in October, the last Sunday of the month, from 8-10am. Bring your little ghouls and goblins to GCM to enjoy safe, indoor trick-or-treating and more Halloween-themed activities! Come explore the Museum with lights and sounds turned down and sensory-adapted tools, special programs, and community resources at your fingertips. It’s during this time that children and their families can experience the Museum and unite with others on a similar journey.

Every year, GCM participates in the Teal Pumpkin Project. Keep an eye out for stations with a teal pumpkin where your little ones will receive non-edible goodies. The Teal Pumpkin Project is a movement to raise awareness of food allergies and to create a safer, more inclusive Halloween for all trick-or-treaters. Putting a teal pumpkin on your doorstep will let trick-or-treaters know that your house is food allergy-friendly. Learn more about Autism-Friendly initiatives at GCM.
