FINANCE

Chief Financial Officer | Full Time

This position is responsible for managing all financial functions including, accounting, internal and external financial administration, budgeting, business planning, cash flow forecasting, and accurate and timely financial reporting. As a member of the leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer will work closely with the CEO, Finance Committee and Board of Directors to control all financial activities of the Glazer Children’s Museum.

She/He will have a demonstrated competency in successful management of employees and confident, steadfast leadership. She/he will be self-motivated, attain and foster a welcoming and rewarding team environment, and have excellent communication skills both internally and externally. OPERATIONS

Exhibit & Operations Technician | Full Time

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all aspects of the visitor experience at the Museum. This includes maintenance and repair of any and all aspects of the building or exhibits. Duties also include assisting museum staff in items of an operational issue, i.e. janitorial, security, safety etc., to provide a high quality visitor experience. Working in a team of operations staff, the Exhibit & Operations Technician will report to the Exhibit & Operations Manager (or his/her designee) and may participate in training and supervising other staff, vendors or volunteers as required. EDUCATION

Teacher: Play Tampa Bay | Full Time

The primary function of the Teacher for Play Tampa Bay is to create a high-quality Kindergarten Readiness initiative to serve low-income populations throughout the region. Teachers for Play Tampa Bay embrace best practices in early childhood education, to improve the key social/emotional, literacy, numeracy and parenting skills for diverse families in Tampa Bay. Teachers value relationships with early childhood professionals, families, and services throughout Tampa to connect families with the resources needed for their child(ren) to succeed once in Kindergarten. Teachers build trust and authenticity within the community to improve impact. Events Specialist | Part Time

The Events Specialist’s primary responsibility is to deliver a high-quality birthday and special events experience that is memorable and exciting. OPERATIONS

Part Time Environmentalist | Part Time

Responsible for the cleanliness of all aspects of the building and visitor experience at the Museum. Duties are all tasks of a custodial or operational nature and to provide a safe, high quality and presentable visitor experience. Working in a team of exhibit and facility staff, the Custodial Technician will report to the Operations Technician & Custodial Supervisor. Must have prior experience in custodial field. GUEST SERVICES

Guest Services Associate | Part Time

This position is responsible for the successful daily operations of all aspects of the visitor experience at the Guest Services desk and info desk while greeting and orienting guests with a focus on providing a quality, memorable guest experience. A Guest Services Associate ensures optimum performance of the visitor services experience, friendly admissions process and point of sales system operation.
