Pi Day

Thursday, March 14 (3.14), 2024 at 3:14pm

On March 14 (3.14), celebrate Einstein’s birthday, math, and the number pi with an epic pie fight in the park at Glazer Children’s Museum. This event is FREE with General Museum Admission and is for kiddos (ages 5 and older) and their grownups. Get ready to get messy! Ponchos and goggles are provided while supplies last, but we suggest bringing a change of clothes.

EXTRA FUN
Before the pie flies, enjoy an outdoor pop-up adventure playground with our pals from Rooted in Play from 11am-1pm!

ABOUT PI DAY
Glazer Children’s Museum loves celebrating Pi Day on March 14 (3.14, get it?). Not only is it a day to celebrate the number pi, but it’s also Albert Einstein’s birthday! GCM started celebrating Pi Day with pie fights in the park, and over the years, we have found myriad ways to celebrate this infinitely wonderful number. From a video by Albert Einstein himself on GCM at Home to a Pie in the Face challenge that involved the entire community! Pi is infinite, and so are the ways in which GCM will continue to celebrate Pi Day each year here at the Museum!
